Saleem. Yes. You are right. Let me add this: without asking how can you get? If you don't send your CV and apply for a job, how can you get that job. If you don't ask Allah (SWT) for forgiveness, how can you gain His forgiveness and His mercy. If you ask, there would be a chance of receiving. But if you don't ask, you won't get.

You cannot change other people, the circumstances and the society, but you can change yourself. The irony is that most people would like to see changes everywhere except in themselves.

Its easy to complain about things outside our control than to act by changing ourselves
